First Post

This is far from being my first blog.  I have blogged on and off through the years and just dropped it altogether after I got pregnant for the first time last year.  Now, I am back, with a vengeance.

Why return to blogging? I asked myself. My heart immediately shouted back: "Why NOT?"

 To keep myself sane.

As a new mom with an (almost) 5-month old baby, I could easily get overwhelmed by happenings and new experiences that I just need an outlet!  Plus, it's never a bad thing to practice writing skills, expand my vocabulary, and hone my usage of correct grammar.

I need a sounding board.

Do I ever. Being a new mom comes with it too much decision-making that I need to document my musings and brainfarts on different things, on different days.  It pays to look back on these postings to move on and make better decisions in the future.

I sing in the shower.  I conduct conversations inside my head with myself sometimes when I'm bored. (Yes, I am crazy that way.)  While the hubby is my best bud and I could talk to him about everything and anything under the sun, I still need a way to express the many thoughts inside my head without anyone (or anything) answering back.  (At least before I publish the post.)

There's just too many things I am learning everyday.

As a lawyer, diver, a wife, and especially as a new mom, I am absorbing so much information and learning at such a quick pace that it would be a sin not to share the things I learn to other who might benefit from the bits of wisdom (and misadventures) in my life.  So I will blog about diapers, new laws, dive sites, food, my period... so if you intend to follow my blog, proceed with caution.  In any case, entries about topics that may offend the more sensitive among us will come with sufficient warning. :)

To keep myself sane. Need I say more?

So, for those who might give this blog site a chance, enjoy browsing and feel free to comment if you feel like it.  I reserve the right to delete offensive comments though, you know, so the site remains decent [in a manner of speaking. :)].

Here goes nothin'.
